I started writing this song when I was still living in Japan, and finished it after I moved to the US. Preparing for the move was a tough ordeal for me, as I could hardly make any music for about a year because I had to send my equipment before moving.
This song is filled with my joy, passion and the determination to start composing again.
Also, the song "The Town of Blue Shells" was inspired by my imagination that there could be a place where all the loneliness and goodbyes in the world could come together. Nowadays, people reveal so much of themselves on the internet, right? Personal thoughts that used to be kept quietly in our hearts are now being expressed online. Everyone's sorrows are gathering at the edge of the waves and dissolving into the waves. Such is the story.
